Media & Film Composer
Sumin is a media and film composer, and pianist based in Los Angeles, CA. He holds a bachelor’s degree in classical music composition from the Hartt School where he learned composition from Robert Carl and Mark Orton. Currently, he is a student in UCLA's film scoring program. He has worked as an orchestrator, arranger, and composer. He works as a live streaming technician to understand more about film directors' technical language and intention. He has collaborated with the art museum. Also, he has worked at the Korea Army Training Center in South Korea by joining the army band as a French horn player and arranger. His influences include Maurice Ravel, Paul Dukas, Francis Poulenc, John Williams, John Powell,
and Alan Silvestri.
